Aldrin's guitar playing
Thursday
video recordings in one...
Hi everyone..
This is my follow up video upload, taken me so long to put it up in the net.
My 1st, 2nd and 3rd videos were a recap of my first post...
then spent the rest of the semester learning this:
This video has taken me many takes to get it right… was helped by my friend playing and stopping the video- so I can focus on my playing… the song is Passenger seat by Stephen Speaks. Several friends (including females) of mine learnt to play guitar from this song. So, I guess this song really helps a noob!
Saturday
What I have done so far...
Hi again!
It’s been 4 weeks since the intro of the course...
So, after thinking about what occupation I wanted to learn- playing guitar, I spend my 2 weeks shopping guitar-however I was told by someone to wait till I learn how to play it before buying one.
Good thing, I was able to borrow my friend’s beginner guitar that I can use for the mean time. However, I spent my previous weeks on neglecting to practice...
Only thing I learnt so far (that I am good at) is the chord of G, and stramming with the beat that goes like this: down, down, up, up- n-down. –hope you can relate.
I also learnt the chord of D. My teachers (got bunch of them) looked relaxed and calm while playing- I on the other hand find changing chords complicated.
I’ll post videos soon...
I got mixed ideas of songs I wanted to play, and my friends recommends that I do need to learn the basics first...

Introduction
Hello everyone,
I made this blog as a recording tool to see my progress in learning to play a guitar.
As a part of my year-2 Occupational therapy course- Participation in Occupation II, each and every one in class has to learn and engage in an occupation or an activity that they are unfamiliar with.
I always think that playing guitar is a complicated and too mainstream (deep inside I really want to learn) hence I do not know how to play it. However, since I enjoy music, and always been a fan of acoustic, I figured learning to play a guitar would be a way to go. Not to mention that most of my friends know how to play (and my brother) it’s just right for me to learn this type of performance.
**as part of the course, we have to think about our ways of recording our participation in our new engagement- I have chosen to blog instead.
So yes, enjoy! :)
